Level II Technician, PAUT United Dynamics Advanced Technologies Corporation (UDC) is looking to fill a position in our NDE Department. As a
UDC ASNT / NDT
Level II Tech, you would be coordinating and traveling with our employees to power plants across the country to execute NDE inspections and diagnostics on fossil-fueled boiler units, pressure parts and auxiliary equipment. As a UDC Level II Tech you will provide technical support, consultation and training to UDC employees and clients. A main function will be to compile inspection and recommendation reports that will be presented to plant engineers and management. Additionally, you will recommend maintenance, repairs, analysis and advise on speculated root-cause and corrective action solutions from inspection results. During your tenure with the UDC NDE Department, you will also work closely with our Field Services, Aerobotics and HRSG Divisions to coordinate inspection schedules and provide input and expertise on job bids, customer contracts and internal processes. Ability to travel extensively and work unhindered by heights or confined spaces is necessary. UDC covers all travel expenses and provides daily allowances for Meals & Incidentals. ASNT NDE
Level II Certification and experience in Phased Array, MT, PT and UT; strong analytical ability, mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and teach; strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Database-related programs, image editing software); leadership / management experience; with 2-5 years of power plant maintenance, industrial maintenance or boiler inspection preferred. Ideal candidate will also have Phased Array EPRI Certification. Overtime will fluctuate during peak season (Spring and Fall) and will be paid on anything over 40 hours per week.
