Job Description
Job Title:
Spray Technician Job Description As a Spray Technician, you will be responsible for performing HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations according to customer requirements and job folder specifications. Your role involves reviewing job folders to verify areas of parts for masking, cleaning, blasting, and coating, ensuring all pre-coating requirements are met. You will follow in-process inspection procedures to confirm operations meet customer and technical plan requirements, and record and sign off on all applicable data as defined in the job folder. Responsibilities Perform HVOF, plasma, and thermal spray coating operations as per customer requirements. Review job folders to verify areas of parts for masking, cleaning, blasting, and coating. Ensure all pre-coating requirements are completed according to job folder specifications. Follow in-process inspection procedures to verify operations meet customer and technical plan requirements. Record and sign off on applicable data defined in the job folder. Essential Skills Machine operation in coating, welding, robotic welding, or CNC is required. Ability to perform setups and changeovers of new products and program machines to specification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Reading blueprints and drawings is a plus. Previous experience as a Spray Technician is a plus. Experience in a production environment with capability to learn thermal spray processes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
