As a vital member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for inspecting welded components, verifying compliance with industry standards, and maintaining rigorous quality control protocols. Your expertise will help us deliver durable, reliable products that meet all regulatory and customer specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to precision manufacturing and uphold excellence in every weld. Duties Conduct thorough visual inspections of welds using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensions and surface quality. Utilize advanced non-destructive testing methods, including Calypso software and other inspection tools, to assess weld integrity and detect defects. Review welding procedures and ensure adherence to
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations. Perform regular quality audits on welding processes, documenting findings accurately for continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of weld defects and implement corrective actions aligned with quality management systems. Maintain detailed records of inspections, data collection results, and compliance reports in accordance with QA/QC standards. Support calibration and maintenance of measurement devices such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision systems to ensure measurement accuracy. Requirements Proven experience in welding inspection within a manufacturing environment, with strong analysis skills for defect detection and quality assurance. Familiarity with industry standards including
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations governing manufacturing quality systems. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Knowledge of Calypso software or similar data collection tools used for weld analysis and reporting. Strong understanding of quality control processes, quality audits, and quality management principles. Excellent attention to detail combined with analytical skills necessary for thorough inspections and data interpretation. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
