Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required (education will be verified) with 6 years of relevant mechanical and/or inspection experience Must have an active and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) Experience in inspection processes; knowledge and use of inspection and testing instruments Experienced in use of technical drawings and following manufacturing work instructions and inspection procedures Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications Familiarity with fabrication processes and standards Must have a good understanding of quality management systems Experience with common quality systems such as non-conformances, cause/corrective actions Provide input to the technical needs and solutions required for the manufacture, inspection of materials and components This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead Ability to work 1st shift, 2nd shift, overtime, and travel on little to short notice Must be able to work onsite in Whiteman AFB, Missouri Must pass visual exam
Preferred Qualifications:
MES (Manufacturing Execution System) experience Experience in a highly technical aerospace/manufacturing environment General understanding of AS9102 Prior maintenance, inspection, and quality experience in aviation, electronics, or ordinance Prior experience with avionics, electrical systems, and harness fabrication/repair/installation Prior Low Observable (L.O.) experience US Government Top Secret Clearance Experienced with practices associated with ISO9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems Basic working knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Familiarity with 1ERP, Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Team Center, and other related maintenance and engineering databases Knowledgeable in ESD/FOD/Tool Control practices MPR
Primary Level Salary Range:
$70,600.00 - $117,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
