Your impact We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Welding & Structural Inspection Specialist to support a wide range of construction, fabrication, and industrial projects. This position requires an accomplished professional with extensive experience in welding inspection, structural steel inspection, and fireproofing inspection services. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in quality assurance, code compliance, and field inspection activities, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with applicable industry standards and project specifications. Primary Responsibilities Perform welding inspections in fabrication shops and field construction environments. Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ). Conduct high-strength bolting inspections in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements. Perform inspection of spray-applied fire-resistive materials (SFRM). Verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation. Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders to resolve quality issues and ensure successful project execution. Here's what you'll need Minimum 20 years of progressively responsible experience in welding, fabrication, construction, inspection, and quality assurance. Extensive experience inspecting structural steel fabrication and erection projects. Strong knowledge of welding procedures, welder qualifications, and quality control processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, specifications, and inspection reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to project teams. Required Certifications Applicants must possess current certification(s) and demonstrated experience as: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) High-Strength Bolting Inspector Spray-Applied Fireproofing Inspector Welding Process Experience Candidates must demonstrate substantial experience with the following welding processes: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) Required Codes and Standards Experience Applicants must have hands-on inspection experience and working knowledge of the following codes and standards: AWS Codes

The base salary range for this position is $113,000.00 to $176,600.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
