A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Structural Specialist - Welding/Fabrication BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, experience in design and/or construction preferred but not required, excellent communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of American Standard national design codes, AISC, ASCE, AWS, FEA, STAAD, preferred. ASME and Caesar Pipe Stress Analysis knowledge a plus. Ability and willingness to assume full responsibility in support of a project, product line or equipment component, ensure customer compliance and develop company standards which combine robust and effective technical performance with economic competitiveness. Knowledge of fabrication procedures and practices, welding, ASME and AWS Codes and non-destructive testing/inspection a plus.
