Job Description

ElyoniX is seeking an experienced radiography professional for a direct-hire NDT Level III Trainee - X-Ray opportunity with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Dover, New Jersey. This position is designed to develop a qualified NDT professional toward Level III certification in radiography. The selected candidate will work closely with the primary Level III while continuing to perform production Level I and Level II duties.
Pay:
$ Starting around $30 per hour, based on experience, education, and qualifications

Full-time, primarily day shift
Location:
Dover, NJ Relocation assistance: Possibly Responsibilities Assist the primary Level III with technical and production-related responsibilities. Participate in internal, external, and customer audits. Assist with training and monitoring Level I and Level II NDT inspectors. Perform audits to verify product conformity and process comprehension. Support radiographic inspections using film and digital radiography. Ensure NDT inspections meet applicable product and customer requirements. Perform required equipment calibrations and daily system checks. Assist with developing and maintaining NDT procedures, techniques, and work instructions. Interpret specifications and blueprints under Level III guidance. Maintain required inspection, qualification, and process records. Review process documentation for the proper inspection technique. Support manufacturing by performing Level I and Level II production duties as needed. Assist with new NDT technology, process improvements, and repeatability and reproducibility studies. Work overtime or off shifts when required to support audits, production, and customer needs. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in radiographic testing or a closely related NDT role. Working knowledge of industrial X-ray applications. Ability to pass the company's Level III testing requirements following completion of the required training plan. Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, specifications, and work instructions. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime when required. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, customers, auditors, and suppliers. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Must be able to lawfully access export-controlled information and materials. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Dover, NJ. Preferred Qualifications Current or previous employer-based Level II certification in radiographic testing under NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, or a similar written practice. Experience with both film and digital radiography. Aerospace or investment-casting inspection experience. Experience supporting NDT audits, training, techniques, or procedures.
