The Level II NDT Field Technician performs inspections independently within the scope of their certifications, provides technical guidance to NDT Assistants and Level I Technicians, and ensures all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform NDT inspections using certified methods, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Visual Testing (VT), as applicable to individual certifications. Set up, calibrate or standardize, operate, and maintain NDT inspection equipment according to approved procedures. Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and acceptance criteria. Identify, document, and communicate defects, discontinuities, and inspection findings to supervisors and customers. Prepare accurate and complete inspection reports, including measurements, findings, equipment information, and supporting documentation.
