The Quality Control Manager for the facility will be responsible for guiding the Site Quality Control Department towards growth into operational excellence by: Cultivating the Quality Control staff, Adding to existing Quality Control staff as needed, Establishing and maintaining a gainful partnership with production while setting a level of expectations of Acceptable Quality by encouraging responsibility/accountability, and lastly monitor and report on the ongoing COPQ throughout the year. In short, the Site Quality Control Manager will lead by example based on experience.Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred, and a minimum of 4 years of successful quality management in steel fabrication.Experience:
Current or previous certification as an AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI). Current or previousASNT SNT-TC-1A
for Level II Certification in Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle inspection methods and be familiar with non-destructive testing methods. ISO or AISC Audit or certification experience. Prior experience in the Tower and Pole industry highly preferred.Benefits:
