Aerospace NDT Technician - Liquid Penetrant Quality Plating Co. of Tulsa Tulsa, OK Job Details Full-time $16 - $22 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off On-the-job training Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Record keeping Document review (document control) Maintaining an organized workspace Non-destructive testing Calibration NDT Certification English Manufacturing Clean workspace maintenance NDT Level II Entry level Full Job Description Conducts Liquid Penetrant Testing (Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)) using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for evaluation and inspection. Extensive training will be provided. This is a first shift opportunity Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am 11:30am.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review routers, procedures, specifications, drawings and other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform operation Process part(s) in accordance with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for discontinuities exceeding requirements specified Set-up, operate, calibrate, and perform Process Control Checks on NDT (Liquid Penetrant Test) equipment by following established instructions and record results Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results as required and outlined Fill out required logs as required Clean equipment and ensures it is working properly, and clean and maintain work area as needed Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications, etc.) Maintain work area, equipment, and all documents/records to be audit ready at all times Performs the above and other assigned duties in a safe, quality focused manner Qualifications /
Requirements:
(Preferred but not required) Currently or previously certified to NDT Level II in Liquid Penetrant Testing in accordance with NAS-410. Successfully pass vision screen Ability to speak, read and write

Work Environment:
May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels). Safety training and equipment are provided in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy. Will be required to wear PPE, as required. Able and willing to stand 90% of the time, stooping, bending, stretching, and engaging in awkward positioning.
Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
