40.0 Overview System One is seeking a qualified
API 510/570
inspector to support our client's team for a long-term contract on-site in Clairton, PA. Candidates must be local to the area or looking to relocate. Candidates with an API 653 certification are strongly preferred. This position is responsible for performing pressure equipment inspections, supporting nondestructive examination (NDE) activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have experience reading and creating isometric drawings, maintaining accurate inspection documentation, and working safely in an industrial environment. Responsibilities Perform API 510 and API 570 inspections in accordance with applicable codes and company procedures. Support nondestructive examination (NDE) activities and ensure inspections are completed to industry standards. Read, interpret, and prepare isometric drawings as required. Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of NDE equipment. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Follow established safety procedures and client site requirements at all times. Complete additional duties as assigned by site supervision. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent Current API 510 and API 570 certifications (API 653 certification is a plus) Relevant inspection experience in industrial or refinery environments Valid driver's license Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Must provide current API certifications and an updated resume Must successfully complete a post-offer drug/alcohol screening and physical examination Must meet all client-specific site requirements, including clean-shaven policies where applicable Ability to work in an industrial environment, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, working at elevated and below-grade locations, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and operating inspection equipment Ability to read drawings and blueprints, distinguish shapes and measurements, follow written and verbal instructions, and identify and report potential safety hazards System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
