$30 - $40
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and company specifications. Monitor welding processes, procedures, and materials to guarantee top-notch quality. Identify and report any defects or discrepancies and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues. Review project plans, blueprints, and welding procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards. Maintain detailed and accurate inspection reports, ensuring proper documentation of all welding activities. Promote safety and quality best practices across the shop floor.
Requirements:
Certified Welding Inspector certification (AWS) is required. Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes (ASME, AWS, etc.), and standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
