Certified Weld Inspector, YOU Will:

Perform day-to-day NDE activities including visual examination of materials, structures, and components for signs of corrosion, metal fatigue, cracks, and other flaws. Execute inspection plans for pressure vessels, piping, and fabricated equipment in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and procedures. Conduct weld inspections, NDE, and dimensional inspections on structural steel, piping, and pressure vessel internals. Verify material testing and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Interpret and review engineering drawings as required to support inspection activities. Document non-destructive examination methods, processes, and results; prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to appropriate parties. Conduct surveillance of fabrication processes and quality controls, ensuring all applicable paperwork is accurate and complete. Ideal CWI Candidate If You Have:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) — active CWI certification required. The ability to visually inspect structural steel, piping, and pressure vessel internals. Knowledge of NDE methods, inspection documentation, and interpretation of results in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The ability to understand, interpret, and review engineering drawings. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products. Strong attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and exceptional safety and quality awareness. The ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb as required to perform inspection activities. BONUS If You Have:

Additional NDE certifications such as PT (Penetrant Testing) or MT (Magnetic Particle Testing). Previous hands-on welding experience. Prior experience in a fabrication shop environment producing code-compliant pressure vessels or process equipment.
