The Boeing Company is currently seeking a NDT Quality Test Specialist to join their team in North Charleston, SC.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on various materials and components. Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with specifications. Document and report findings in accordance with company procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of NDT procedures. Maintain NDT equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly. Train and mentor junior NDT technicians. Participate in audits and inspections as required. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the NDT department.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in NDT methods (e.g., Level II or Level III). Experience with NDT techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, or dye penetrant testing. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or repair. Knowledge of quality management systems and standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
