A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description

Level II UT Phased Array Technician will be performing calibrations, NDT Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. Must be familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT and being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training and guidance of Assistants and level I Technicians.
