Full Time Position Description:
Refrigeration Vessels & Systems Corp. (RVS) is seeking an entry level Hydro Test Inspector to support the inspection and testing of ASME pressure vessels manufactured at our Bryan, Texas facility. This position is a hands on manufacturing support role focused on safety, quality, and compliance . The Hydro Test Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring pressure vessels are tested, documented, and released in accordance with engineering specifications and applicable ASME Code requirements. This role is well suited for candidates who are: Mechanically inclined Detail oriented Interested in quality, inspection, or manufacturing careers Willing to learn ASME code requirements and inspection processes No prior hydro testing experience is required. Training will be provided.
What You'll Do:
Assist with and perform hydrostatic pressure testing on ASME pressure vessels Set up test equipment, connect piping, and verify test readiness Monitor pressure levels during testing and watch for leaks or abnormalities Verify test results meet specified requirements Accurately document test data and inspection results Maintain clear communication with production, quality, and engineering teams Follow all safety procedures related to pressurized testing and shop operations Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality and testing processes
What We're Looking For:
Required:
High school diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands on in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry Preferred (Not Required): Manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or shop floor experience Exposure to quality, inspection, or testing roles Experience working around piping, pumps, valves, or pressure systems Vocational or technical training Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
