We are seeking an NDT Level II or III certified in Radiographic Testing/XRAY (RT) to perform surface inspections on metal castings used in critical applications. This role ensures that all components meet strict engineering and quality requirements through both in-process and final inspections.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection duties using equipment as directed by management
- Participate in applicable training and pass all necessary general, specific and practical examinations.
- Complete inspection duties in accordance with written instruction documented in the Jules eWO (Work Orders) for specific NDT requirements and inspection techniques
- Drive signed-off operation step for every NDT operation within each serialized part eWO
- Conduct and oversee critical inspections, providing clear, accurate, and concise interpretation of inspection results utilizing both manual techniques and advanced NDT inspection systems.
- Provide essential support for various organizational activities, including proposal development, equipment maintenance, process instruction revisions, new test method development, interpretation of customer technical specifications, and identification of productivity enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Level 2 or 3 technician per the employer's written practice in accordance with NAS410, or
SNT-TC-1A
- Experience performing radiographic inspections (Inconel or other nickel super alloy's preferred).
- Must undergo and successfully complete Radiation Safety training, X-ray system functional training and other internal safety and NDT related process training when required.
- Technicians must pass administered specific and practical examinations, as well as visual acuity and color/contrast discrimination tests, prior to dispositioning production hardware.
- All work is to be performed at our customer facility located in Arlington, Washington.
- Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required Desired but not required skills:
