A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description

Job Description As an API Inspector, you will provide our customers with technical recommendations on repairs, replacement and alterations needed for specific equipment and abide by American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.
Applicants must have minimal experience:
5 years with all inspection activities related to the mechanical integrity program of a refinery. Job responsibilities include performing or coordinating the following: Perform 510 and 570 inspection work throughout facility units Provide technical input and create inspection reports Provide technical guidance on NDT (Non-Destructive testing) practices
Qualifications:
Must have active API 510 and 570 certifications 5-8 years of API experience Previous Non-Destructive testing experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Must pass DISA background, dug and alcohol screens Must posses' valid driver's license and TWIC card Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills with a positive team-oriented attitude Pinnacle participates in E-Verify, a federal government system used to verify employment authorization and social security number of each new employee.
