A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description

Now Hiring:
NDT Inspector I or II Pipe Reclamation, Inc. is hiring an NDT Inspector for our pipe yard. This position ensures all in-process and final OCTG material meets contractual and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do:
Inspect OCTG pipe using NDT methods (MT, UT, UTT, VT, EMI, or MFL) to ensure it meets contractual and regulatory standards Perform calibrations and record test results per written instructions
Level II:
train Level I inspectors, calibrate/maintain equipment, submit daily production reports Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping policies
What We're Looking For:
1+ year of experience with OCTG or a related NDT field Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Comfortable working outdoors in a pipe yard, on your feet, and lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, safety-focused, good attitude Must meet PRI's written practice minimum requirements for Level 1 (MT/UTT/UT/VT) or Level 2 (MT/UTT/UT/EMI/MFL) certification, depending on level assigned Must pass a vision exam per PRI's written practice High school diploma preferred
Working Conditions:
Outdoor pipe yard, standard for OCTG manufacturing. PPE required (safety glasses, work boots, hardhat). No loose clothing or jewelry.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
