$35-$48/hr. | Excellent Benefits Newell Corporation is hiring a Certified Welding Inspector to join our growing team in Arlington, WA.

What You'll Do:

As a Weld Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring welded products meet all applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.

You will:

Inspect welds for compliance with AWS, ASME, ISO, customer, and internal specifications Verify Weldment fit-up accuracy and dimensions of fabricated weldments using basic measuring tools Interpret weld symbols, engineering drawings, and technical documentation Verify compliance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) Perform in-process and final weld inspections Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve welding issues Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with internal, customer, and third-party audits Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability

What You Bring:

AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification (current or previous) 5+ years of weld inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, etc.) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications Proficiency with inspection tools and measuring equipment Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, manufacturing, industrial) Experience working within ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems Familiarity with NDT methods (VT, MT, PT, UT) a plus
