A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description
Position Title:
LevelII NDT UTT
Location:
Tacoma, WA- US Oil Requirements:
Needs minimum UT(Thickness) certification. Anything additional is a plus. Full-time benefited positionPay:
$23 - $28/hr DOE Hourly / Non-ExemptPosition Summary :
The NDT Level II will be responsible perming onsite NDT inspection, coordinating projects, and maintaining customer relations at the facility. Candidate will at a minimum have current NDT certifications in UTT and MT with additional certifications in PT and RT preferred. Strong computer skills and communication desired. Ideal candidate will be a Self-motivated individual with current NDT certifications looking to advance their career and work toward API certifications and team leadership.Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Perform NDT inspections.
- Understand and communicate upcoming project schedules
- Collect and turn in reports and timesheets as needed
- Maintain positive customer relations on the site
- Walk down drawings
- Assist with API inspections
- Report to operations team to coordinate work and equipment needs in a timely manner
- Ensure site equipment is current on calibration
Minimum Requirements:
- Needs minimum UT(Thickness) certification. Anything additional is a plus.
- Current TWIC card (or able to obtain)
- Current Driver's license
- Experience in petrochemical industry strongly preferred.
