Position SummaryThe Safety Basis Analyst 3 ensures the safe operation of nuclear and non-nuclear facilities by performing hazard and risk analyses and developing safety basis documents. They provide recommendations to mitigate risks, improve facility operations, and maintain compliance with

standards and organizational policies. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, they integrate safety considerations into facility design, operations, and planning.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform hazard identification, hazard analyses, and facility hazard categorization for nuclear and non-nuclear facilitiesConduct accident analyses and recommend controls to mitigate risksDevelop and review safety basis documents, including un-reviewed safety question determinations, documented safety analyses, technical safety requirements, safety assessment documents, and facility safety plansSupport safety analysis activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and
