Design components critical to the safety of advanced nuclear reactors and supporting systems. Complete hand calculations in MathCAD. Complete Finite Element Analyses in ANSYS Mechanical to support advanced nuclear design work. Complete Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyses in ANSYS Fluent. Create manufacturing plans, drawings using SolidWorks CAD. Author design specifications for mechanical equipment and systems. Receive training to become an expert in engineering simulation. Qualifications US Citizenship or Noncitizen US National or Lawful Permanent Resident. Direct experience in ANSYS Mechanical is preferred. Direct experience with
ASME BPVC
is required. BSME or MSME from an accredited university. MSME highly preferred. A high interest and competence in calculations and Finite Element Analyses. A high interest and competence in creating manufacturing drawings and packages. Demonstrated technical writing ability. Nuclear experience is highly sought after.
