Position Title:
Nuclear Licensing Engineer
Position Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting FTE Nuclear Licensing Engineer opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
Draft, author, and review licensing documents for 10 CFR part 30, 40, and 70 (e.g., Safety Analysis Report and Environmental Report) Coordinate with project stakeholders to prepare responses to NRC audit questions and requests for additional information Interface with the Licensing Team toplete licensing tasks Coordinate with design personnel to ensure designs and design changes meet regulatory requirements Prepare, review, and maintain licensing documentation inpliance with regulations and strict quality assurance standards Interface with technical discipline teams at Company, partners, and contractors Review correspondence to and from regulatory agencies Develop licensing strategies to support project goals.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent experience Capability and willingness to ad to strict quality assurance standards Demonstrated, applicable experience in nuclear licensing, orparable field 10 years plus experience with 10 CFR regulations and guidance 10 years plus experience with NRC licensing actions involving 10 CFR 30, 40, and 70 applications Self-Starter with ability to manage deadlines Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Professional Strongmunication skills The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity,municate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork Actual position starting level and title will be determined based on assessment of qualifications.
