Job Description
About the JobKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop integrated photonic devices for high-speed optical interconnect applications.
Conduct passive device design, including couplers, splitters, PSR, and WDM components.
Conduct active optical device design, including MZM and MRM.Perform chip layout generation, circuit design, and circuit simulation.
Develop measurement methodologies and plans to test and characterize fabricated devices.
QualificationsPh.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Optics, Physics, or a related field; semiconductor laser industry experience required.3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
Experience with RF design and simulation, including optical and electrical modeling tools such as HFSS and ADS, for designing electro-optical devices.
Experience with photonics design and simulation tools such as Ansys/Lumerical, RSoft, Photon Design, or Tidy3D.Experience with script-based GDS layout of photonics components, circuits, and full product chips using tools such as GDSFactory or Luceda IPKISS.Experience in wafer processing, packaging/testing, reliability, and failure analysis is preferred.
