Optical Engineer We have an opening for an Optical Engineer who will be responsible for supporting various product development projects. The successful applicant will perform optical system design, revision of existing optical system, and subsequent simulation, performance analysis and optimization, opto-mechanical design, component/vendor selection, etc.

Requirements:

BS in Optical Sciences, Physics, or other engineering discipline with in optical techniques, with a minimum of 1 years' work experience in similar field. Expertise in designing, prototyping and evaluating of both imaging and non-imaging optical systems. Hands-on experience with optical system setup/alignment and assembling Knowledge of optical coating, scattering, laser, polarization, spectroscopy Proficient with optical design and simulation software Knowledge of fabrication and assembly methods for optics and opto-mechanical components

Preferred:

MS/PhD with proficiency in scientific and technical writing skills Prior R&D/research experiences.
