Job Title:
Electronics TechnicianJob Description This role involves supporting the Test Department by providing guidance, assisting engineering activities in design, testing, and check-out, and conducting both routine and experimental engineering tests. Responsibilities also include updating software and firmware, as well as writing and updating test procedures. Responsibilities + Provide guidance to the Test Department staff. + Support engineering activities including design, test, and check-out. + Conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing. + Update software and firmware. + Write and update test procedures. Essential Skills + 5-7 years of experience with Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). + Proficiency in soldering, using an oscilloscope, and handling test equipment. + Experience with electronics testing and working with circuit boards. + Ability to troubleshoot failed circuits to sub-assembly and/or component level in analog and mixed signal systems. + Management or team leadership experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience forecasting repairs and scheduling demands. + Skills in RMA authorization and repair orders. + Knowledge ofIPC-7711C, IPC-7721C
standards. + Ability to apply deductive logic for troubleshooting. Work Environment The work environment is clean and fun, offering a positive atmosphere for employees to thrive. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
