- Define equipment requirements, source and select new equipment or identify modifications and upgrades for existing vacuum chambers.
- Oversee process engineers and coach in advanced techniques.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, educate team members on changes or updates.
- Engage customers and identify changing product requirements.
- Support transition of new products from testing to production.
Requirements:
- 5+ years direct experience in process design, development, and improvement for multi-layer thin films applied using thermal evaporation, E-Beam PVD, CVD, Sputtering, or similar.
- Advanced degree in Optics, Materials Science, Physics, etc.
