Based in Princeton, NJ our founding physics team has decades of combined research experience at leading academic and industry labs including Princeton, Harvard, Yale, MIT and Google Quantum. Our approach is based on neutral atom qubit technology developed in research labs at Princeton by the founding team. Our scalable systems are composed of manufacturable sub-modules, controlled by state-of-the-art CMOS optoelectronics, and designed around a unique computer architecture. About the Role We are looking for an Optomechanical Engineer to design and build the literal backbone of our quantum processors, translating lab prototypes into manufacturable hardware that can grow to first-of-a-kind, full-scale quantum datacenters. You will design and prototype custom precision optomechanics, modular optical breadboards, and the large-scale mechanical infrastructure that integrates every component of the processor. You will work with quantum computing researchers and optical engineers to identify components with their design criteria and timelines, then complete the design, prototyping, construction, and validation.
