Leidos seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead complex overhead line projects in the Energy & Utilities sector within our Engineering & Design organization. You will own transmission line design from route selection through construction support, applying NESC and utility standards, PLS-CADD and related tools, and strong project leadership. Responsibilities Lead design of overhead transmission lines from concept through construction for utility and grid projects Develop calculations, plans, and specifications ensuring compliance with NESC, IEEE, and utility standards Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and QA/QC review for multidisciplinary engineering teams Collaborate with clients, permitting agencies, and internal stakeholders to define scope, schedule, and deliverables Support proposals, estimates, and design standards improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and constructability Required Skills Transmission line design (115k V-500k V)
