Our work includes large corporate campuses, hospitals, data centers, mixed use developments, and public infrastructure. Our engineering team plays a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient power distribution systems for high performance facilities. Position Summary The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing power distribution systems for commercial and industrial construction projects. This role supports project teams by developing engineering calculations, technical drawings, equipment selections, and coordination documents. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment with multiple active projects. Key Responsibilities Develop power distribution system designs including single line diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations, and equipment sizing. Perform engineering calculations for short circuit, voltage drop, fault current, and arc flash coordination. Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and low voltage teams. Review submittals, RFIs, and field conditions to ensure design intent is maintained. Support design build and design assist projects with technical expertise. Evaluate equipment options and prepare recommendations based on performance, cost, and project requirements. Participate in project meetings and provide engineering support to project managers and field teams. Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and industry standards. Support commissioning, testing, and system verification activities. Skills and Qualifications Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems for commercial and industrial facilities. Proficiency with engineering software and tools such as SKM, ETAP, or similar. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software such as AutoCAD or Revit. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required. EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus. Experience in commercial electrical design or engineering is preferred. Benefits
