Job Title:
Electrical Systems Engineer Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to support the integration of electronic systems, electrical requirements, and equipment in military aircraft. This role involves working with communications, navigation, satellite, GPS, RF, weapon systems, and other mission systems and equipment. You will lead electrical systems design, aircraft integration, and conduct necessary testing as required by the project. Responsibilities Lead the design and integration of electrical systems in military aircraft. Support the integration of communication, navigation, and mission systems. Research and comply with requirements from customer Statement of Work (SOW), system specifications, and manuals. Write technical documents as required by the project. Perform systems integration and calculate electrical system requirements. Address power distribution and electrical interface requirements. Familiarize with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Vulnerability (EMV) and their effects on aircraft systems. Essential Skills Degree in Electrical Engineering. 1 to 5 years of job-related experience on military aircraft, preferably on H60. Proficiency in SolidWorks and Creo 3D. Ability to attain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Strong communication and analytical skills. Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications like PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Good writing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Vulnerability (EMV). Experience in systems integration and electrical system calculations. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and requires multitasking in a customer service-oriented setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakehurst, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $65.00/hr.
