Pursuant to the Secretary of War's Warfighter Acquisition Transformation Strategy, this role will be expected to use their skillsets and experience to expedite capability delivery to warfighters by tailoring the traditional acquisition process to only critical and value-added items, emphasizing early prototyping and feedback, frequent warfighter user input, and rapid decision-making.
