Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy storage (BESS) projects. This role involves applying engineering expertise across design review, operations support, and process improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on solar inverter technologies and power systems. The ideal candidate will work independently on complex engineering assignments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform engineering analysis, design review, and technical oversight for solar and power generation projects Support project engineering activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with procurement, environmental, and construction teams Lead design reviews, value engineering, and optimization efforts to improve system performance and cost efficiency Develop and enhance troubleshooting guides for inverter fault codes and maintain fault code databases Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions Support field teams and operations with technical troubleshooting for solar inverters and related systems Analyze component failure rates and develop maintenance and reliability improvement plans Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, operations, and external partners/OEMs Drive process improvement initiatives, including leveraging data and analytics for diagnostics and insights Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline with relevant experience) 5+ years of engineering experience in power systems, solar, or renewable energy Experience with utility-scale solar inverters and power electronics Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
