Electrical Infrastructure Project Engineer/Renewable Energy Substation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Substation Project Engineer to support the development, engineering, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy and high-voltage substation projects. This role is responsible for leading engineering activities from project conception through construction, commissioning, and operational handoff. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in substation engineering, transmission interconnection, project execution, and cross-functional coordination. This position requires a proactive technical leader who can manage complex engineering deliverables, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements. This position is based in Juno Beach, Florida, with periodic travel to project sites and other work locations throughout North America. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. 6+ years of experience in substation engineering, high-voltage transmission systems, or utility infrastructure projects. Strong experience with high-voltage substation design, engineering, and project execution. Experience supporting renewable energy, transmission, or utility-scale infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of transmission interconnection requirements, utility coordination, and engineering compliance standards. Experience managing engineering deliverables, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications. Strong project engineering and/or project management experience with a demonstrated ability to drive execution and resolve technical challenges. Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments. Valid driver s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
