Job Description
We are supporting a national design-and-build geostructural engineering firm recognised as one of the country's most respected leaders in tunnel, trenchless, and advanced geotechnical engineering. For over 25 years, this firm has built its reputation around creating space underground and remains consistently ranked among the top trenchless design practices in the U.S.Their Florida group is expanding due to major project wins across water transmission, wastewater, municipal sewer, and trenchless programs statewide-including flagship work within the Tampa Bay region.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a stable and technically driven consultancy with a diverse portfolio spanning W/WW, sewage, oil & gas, and complex industrial projects, providing strong recession-proof grounding.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport trenchless and pipeline engineering projects from feasibility through final design.
Develop technical designs, drawings, and calculations for:
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)MicrotunnelingAuger BoringDirect PipePipe Jacking / RammingPipeline Rehabilitation, Relining & BurstingAssist on major water transmission and municipal infrastructure projects across Florida.
Perform field reviews, construction support, and trenchless feasibility analyses.
Coordinate with owners, contractors, and A/E firms across multidisciplinary project teams.
Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
QualificationsB.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in trenchless, pipeline, or underground engineering.
Familiarity with HDD, microtunneling, auger bore, or similar trenchless methodologies.
EIT or P.E. preferred (or ability to obtain in Florida).Strong analytical, communication, and technical report-writing skills.
