Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Weston, FL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for providing leadership for products and projects that involve multi-disciplinary engineering teams. The Systems Engineer will play a role in all aspects of a product lifecycle from concept through market release and sustaining, translating stakeholder needs into concepts and ensuring design meets user requirements through various system engineering techniques.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership for products and projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Work to understand stakeholder needs and clinical use during the concept phase

Translate needs to concepts and new inventions

Ensure the design meets user needs through requirements identification and dposition

Utilize system engineering techniques such as traceability, architecture, modeling, trade studies, simulation, and budgeting

Lead system integration and verification efforts

Requirements:

• University degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Understanding and application of procedures and concepts of the discipline
• Ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience
• Excellentmunication, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills

Desired skills:

Experience with mechatronic systems

Knowledge of motion control systems

Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems

Experience in systems development and prototyping

Pay range: $43.24 - $53.24 per hour
