Salary Range:
$124,000•$170,000•Commensurate (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)
Profit-Sharing Bonus:
Semi-annual, performance-based (10% to 20% of salary)

Your Role:
Substation Physical Engineer Supervisor•In Office We are looking for a Substation Physical Supervisor in our office in Duluth, GA! What You'll Do Supervise, mentor, and train engineering staff in substation physical design Deliver accurate designs of high-voltage electrical substation components that meet industry and client standards. Design substation systems and components including general arrangement, equipment layout, grounding, conduit, and bills of material. Prepare construction drawing packages for bids and review incoming submittals for alignment with design and constructability. Perform quality reviews of electrical engineering work for both peers and subcontractors. May act as Lead Engineer and Engineer of Record for assigned projects. Manage the development of project proposals, bid preparation, and project schedules. Assist project teams during construction on substation-related issues. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Travel to client sites and field locations as necessary. What You Bring Education Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university Experience 8+ years of substation physical design experience in the electric utility industry. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor software (2D/3D modeling experience is a plus). Strong communication and collaboration skills.
