Your Job Molex is offering a highly visible role for a Signal Integrity Systems Engineer, and you will design leading-edge solutions for the data services industry, influence next-generation active cable platforms using innovative chips in coordination with engineers from various disciplines. You will also work closely with our Hyperscale customers and marketing teams to understand the customer's application needs and translate them into best-in-class winning solutions. You may also spend firsthand time on Molex lab facilities and deliver innovative development solutions supporting our products and driving revenue. We do more than develop customer solutions—we create connections for life. Molex is looking for a Signal Integrity Systems Engineer to support and develop Active cable designs for Hyperscalers. Our business is witnessing tremendous growth owing to an increasing need for Artificial Intelligence and data transfer rates. You will be working under leadership that has been setting and driving industry standards in data centers for more than 30 years. What You Will Do Own system-level SI analysis for high-speed channels including AEC, ACC, DAC, connectors, and PCB interconnects. Develop and analyze end-to-end channels for 112G and 224G PAM4 applications. Develop and analyze S-parameter models, correlate simulation models against VNA measurements. Perform IBIS-AMI and statistical/electrical simulations for high-speed PAM4 channels. Perform system-level BER, eye, jitter, and SNR analysis and identify channel performance limitations. Correlate simulation, VNA, TDR, and oscilloscope measurements with system-level results. Troubleshoot SI issues across PCB, connector, cable, package, and silicon interfaces. Work closely with ASIC/PHY, hardware, PCB, connector, cable, firmware, and validation teams. Support customer demonstrations, interoperability testing, plugfests, and technical reviews. Create technical reports and present SI results to customers and internal engineering teams. Lead root-cause investigations and recommend design improvements. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in high-speed signal integrity, channel modeling, or system validation. Good understanding of high-speed SerDes, PAM4 signaling, transmission-line theory, S-parameters, crosstalk, loss/dispersion, reflections and impedance discontinuities, jitter, BER, and equalization. Experience with HFSS, Keysight ADS/PLTS, Cadence Sigrity, or similar tools. What Will Put You Ahead Hands-on experience with VNA, TDR/TDT, high-speed oscilloscopes, and BERTs. Experience working with S-parameter data and channel models. Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting environments for SI data analysis. Experience with 112G/224G PAM4 or similar high-speed SerDes. Experience with
