Job Description

Constellation Energy seeks an Electrical Analytical Engineer to support reliability and performance of power generation and distribution assets. You will analyze complex electrical systems, perform root-cause investigations, interpret test and sensor data, and develop models to optimize grid and plant operations. Partner with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to define requirements, implement monitoring solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact energy projects that support decarbonization while advancing your technical expertise and leadership in a collaborative culture. Responsibilities Analyze performance of electrical power generation and distribution systems using operational and test data Conduct root-cause investigations on electrical equipment issues and recommend corrective actions Develop and maintain analytical models for reliability, capacity, and power quality evaluations Support design, specification, and review of monitoring and protection systems Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to plan and prioritize system improvements Ensure compliance with applicable NERC, IEEE, and utility standards and internal procedures Prepare clear technical reports, calculations, and presentations for stakeholders Contribute to grid modernization, decarbonization, and energy efficiency initiatives Required Skills Power systems analysis Electrical testing and diagnostics SCADA and data acquisition Protective relays and coordination Root-cause failure analysis Data analytics and modeling ETAP/PSCAD or similar tools Power quality analysis
