Senior Engineer- Semiconductor Diamond Systems

Single Crystal Diamond, Inc. (SCD) is seeking a highly capable Senior Engineer to support and expand our semiconductor diamond initiatives, including ongoing and future work in collaboration with NASA. This role offers significant opportunity for advancement as part of a growing, high-impact program at the intersection of advanced materials and semiconductor technology.

The ideal candidate will bring a multi-disciplinary engineering background , with the ability to contribute across electrical, mechanical, and materials domains in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and execution of semiconductor diamond programs, including NASA-supported efforts Design, analyze, and optimize systems involving electrical, mechanical, and materials engineering principles Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product development and process capabilities Support experimental design, testing, and validation of advanced materials and devices Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple engineering disciplines Document technical work and communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related field) Strong multi-disciplinary engineering experience spanning at least two of the following: Electrical systems or device design Mechanical systems or fabrication Materials science, particularly in semiconductors or advanced materials Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on, lab or production environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with semiconductor processes, CVD systems, or advanced materials is a plus

Work Environment:
