Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Vehicle System Engineer (Electrical) for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate must have expert-level Systems Engineering knowledge and experience with complex electrical systems and
ISO 26262
standards.
Rate Range:
$34/Hour to $36/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Vehicle System Engineer (Electrical) Responsibilities include: Define and develop next-generation vehicle electrical architectures for advanced driver-assistance, electrified, and connected vehicle platforms. Translate vehicle-level requirements into detailed hardware and subsystem architecture specifications using Systems Engineering methodologies. Manage technical requirements throughout the lifecycle, ensuring traceability, verification, and compliance with program objectives. Evaluate and optimize electrical networks, interfaces, and power distribution systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. Apply

functional safety principles to architecture design, risk assessment, and system validation activities. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive architectural decisions and deliver innovative solutions for future mobility platforms.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in the design, modeling, or architecture of complex electrical systems. Expert-level understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including requirement decomposition, V-model development, interface management, FMA, and verification processes. Pay Details:
