Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join a team in Hazelwood, MO. Job Overview This position involves the design, integration, testing, and support of complex electronic and electrical systems . The engineer works closely with customers and suppliers to ensure that systems meet both operational and functional requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Requirements Engineering :
Collaborating with customers to define and document system requirements.
System Design :
Translating requirements into hardware/software/system designs.
Integration & Testing :
Ensuring systems work as intended through rigorous testing and validation.
Supplier Coordination :
Monitoring supplier performance for compliance and integration.
Lifecycle Support :
Providing ongoing support for deployed systems.
Technology Research :
Investigating new technologies for potential use. Basic Qualifications Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
Experience in:
System requirements analysis and design. Communication protocols (e.g., RS422, MIL-STD-1553). Military standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810). CAD tools and electrical schematics. Project management tools like JIRA. Preferred Qualifications Cybersecurity knowledge or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+). Network design experience. Familiarity with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, CAMEO). Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) . Background in aerospace or defense systems (e.g., air vehicles, weapons).
Compensation:
$120,000 to $130,000 Medical benefits, Holiday and PTO pay
