Scada/Controls Commissioning Engineer

Duration:
12 Months (Contract to Hire) Only W2, No C2C What They Need Someone who can go to a site and make everything talk - not analyze it after the fact. Commission new energy sites (BESS / solar) Configure and program SEL RTACs (via AcSELerator RTAC) Integrate devices using Modbus / DNP3 Set up site-level networking (IP, subnets, VLANs, switches) Bring all data back into
SCADA / HMI
systems Work independently across multiple sites
Must-Have Skills:
Hands-on RTAC (SEL) programming Experience with AcSELerator RTAC Field commissioning (this is critical)
Protocols:
Modbus and/or DNP3 Basic networking (IP addressing, subnets, VLANs) Ability to troubleshoot in the field without hand-holding
Desired Skills:
Exposure to BESS platforms (e.g., Wärtsilä GEMS, Greensmith) Light Linux command line (restart services, navigate systems) Some scripting / structured text experience Experience cleaning up or standardizing messy legacy configs
