Electrical Systems Engineer - Contract Henderson, NV | On-site Monday-Friday | 7:00 a.m. start Contract opportunity with potential for direct hire Position Overview An established industrial engineering company seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer to design electrical controls for automated machinery and process equipment. This contract opportunity offers potential for direct hire.

What You Will Do:

• Design schematics, control panel layouts, and interconnect diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Specify PLCs, VFDs, I/O systems, and power distribution components.
• Develop BOMs and maintain technical documentation and drawing revisions.
• Ensure designs meet applicable

NEC/NFPA 70, UL

508A, CE, and IEC requirements.

• Support design reviews, panel fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Estimate project time, costs, and material requirements.

What You Bring:

• Associate degree in CAD or 5+ years of electrical CAD experience.
• Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills and knowledge of industrial electrical design.
• Ability to interpret schematics, P&IDs, I/O lists, and component manuals.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, power distribution, and industrial automation.
• CE/IEC standards, facility power layouts, and Lean experience preferred.

Work Environment:
