What you'll do: Support the design and implementation of electrical subsystems, including sensors, compute platforms, power systems, and communication interfaces Assist with CAN, UART, Ethernet, SPI, I²C, and other communication systems Own the sensor and compute stack: lidar, camera, radar, GNSS, IMU, and high performance edge compute, including characterization and high speed signaling Integrate sensors, compute platforms, and embedded systems for autonomous machines Design and validate power distribution and protection systems Develop reliable wiring and connector solutions for harsh environments Debug hardware issues in both lab and field environments (Bonus) Own compute bring-up and system software on industrial edge compute platforms: Linux image, drivers, networking, watchdogs, remote wake/sleep behavior, logging, and OTA/update strategy
Qualifications:
Experience integrating sensors, compute platforms, and embedded systems for autonomous machines Schematic design and PCB development in EDA tools, taken through fabrication and bring-up Hands-on experience with CAN, UART, Ethernet, SPI, I²C, and similar communication protocols Experience designing and validating power distribution and protection systems Experience developing wiring and connector solutions for harsh environments Strong hardware debugging skills in lab and field settings Familiarity with/debugging Python, C++, Rust (Bonus) Experience with Linux bring-up on industrial edge compute: drivers, networking, watchdogs, logging, and OTA/update strategy
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
