Job Description

Constellation Energy is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure for power generation, grid, and renewable energy projects. In this role, you will develop site layouts, foundations, access roads, and drainage systems, perform technical analyses, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, support field inspections and construction, and contribute to sustainable, cost-effective solutions that reduce carbon footprints. Responsibilities Design and analyze civil structures and infrastructure supporting utility and energy facilities Prepare engineering plans, technical drawings, and specifications for projects Perform site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies for new and existing assets Ensure projects comply with safety codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate civil designs with electrical and mechanical systems Support construction activities with field inspections and quality assurance reviews Manage project documentation, reports, and engineering calculations Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and external partners Required Skills Civil/structural design Auto CAD or Micro Station Civil 3 D or similar tools Structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000) Geotechnical fundamentals Construction methods and materials Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Cost estimating and project scheduling Knowledge of building codes and industry standards Report writing and technical documentation
