CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Reading, PA; Hartford, CT; or St. Catharines, Ontario. In this role, you will contribute to meaningful projects that support power generation, manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure. This is an opportunity to expand your technical expertise, work alongside experienced professionals, and help deliver resilient electrical solutions that support safe, efficient, and future-ready operations.
What You'll Do:
Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for mechanical energy, power generation, and facility energy system projects Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices to support system reliability, safety, and performance Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve technical or operational issues that could impact mission critical systems Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments and system assessments
What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $100,000 USD / $80,000 - $90,000 CAD Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
