This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced electrical engineering projects that directly impact system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Power Systems Quality Engineer•
Benefits and Compensation:

Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (required) Five or more years of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) engineering experience preferred Strong knowledge of power system theory, testing, and regulatory standards (MPUC Ch. 320, ANSI
C84.1, IEEE
1547, etc.) Valid driver's license (Maine preferred) Ability to pass a seven-year background check in compliance with NERC standards Power Systems Quality Engineer•
Must Haves:
Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot power quality issues, including voltage fluctuations, harmonics, and transients Conduct post-fault and root cause analysis of T&D system events Perform field testing and data analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Support integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) by analyzing interconnections and recommending best practices Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Asset Management to develop power quality strategies and capital projects Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams on system reliability and modernization initiatives Power Systems Quality Engineer•
Preferred Background & Skills:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure Experience with grid modernization and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) Familiarity with capital planning, budgeting, and project forecasting Strong proficiency in Excel and other PC-based engineering tools Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
