Job Description

SCADA Developer / SCADA Engineer South Carolina | Full-Time I'm partnered with an established business in the US water/wastewater sector that's continuing to invest in its Automation & Intelligence division. We're looking for experienced SCADA Engineers / Developers who enjoy the hands-on side of engineering, particularly designing, developing and commissioning systems from the ground up. This isn't a maintenance or support-focused position. We need someone who can take a project from initial requirements through to a fully functioning SCADA application. What we're looking for: Experience developing SCADA applications from scratch. Hands-on experience with AVEVA, Wonderware, InTouch, System Platform, Ignition, iFIX or VTScada. Experience developing operator graphics, alarms, historians, databases and reporting functionality. Understanding of PLC integration and industrial communication protocols. Experience with system testing, commissioning and startup. Ability to work directly with customers and engineering teams throughout project delivery. Ideally, you'll have: A background in systems integration or industrial automation. Experience delivering complete SCADA projects rather than solely maintaining existing systems. Exposure to water/wastewater, manufacturing, energy or other industrial process environments. Water/wastewater experience would be useful, but isn't essential. We're far more interested in your ability to develop and deliver SCADA systems. The opportunity You'll be joining a growing automation business with a strong pipeline of projects and continued investment in its engineering teams. If you've got a strong SCADA development background and would be interested in hearing more, I'd welcome a conversation.
